Nectar loyalty card is a loyalty card scheme that works in the United Kingdom and it was launched by the founder of Air Miles, Sir Keith Mills. It appeared from a partnership of suppliers (Sainsbury supermarket chain, credit card American Express, the Debenhams store, petrol distributors BP) in 2002.
Nectar Credit Card benefits:
- 2 points for almost every £1 spent on the Nectar Credit Card at Nectar participating sponsors;
- 5,000 bonus Nectar points when you use your Card for the first time;
- No annual fee;
- PIN and Chip security;
- Clear plastic design.
Nectar points are not earned on Balance Transfers, Cash Advances, American Express Travellers Cheque purchases, Foreign Exchange and Express cash transaction, interest, any spending in excess of your credit limit, credit card charges for dishonoured cheques, late payment or referral credit card charges and American Express Credit Card finance credit card charges.
The Nectar Credit Card interest rate for Cash Withdrawals is 25.9% p.a. including cash transaction charge.
