Nectar loyalty card is a loyalty card scheme that works in the United Kingdom and it was launched by the founder of Air Miles, Sir Keith Mills. It appeared from a partnership of suppliers (Sainsbury supermarket chain, credit card American Express, the Debenhams store, petrol distributors BP) in 2002.
An affinity credit card scheme is a group scheme where a designated organisation is paid a small percentage of all transactions on the credit card. This payment is funded by interchange, the percentage of each transaction that the card issuer receives.
